Wacker Neuson introduced a new compact wheel loader at Bauma 2013, the WL 20. The new machine has an operation weight of 2000 kg and is the smallest wheel loader from the German manufacturing company. The WL 20 achieves a tipping load of 1,240 kg and has a standard bucket of 0.2m3.
Press Release: The Wacker Neuson wheel loaders were designed for efficient construction site use. In addition to corresponding performance parameters, a high level of workplace convenience was kept in mind during development and a great deal of emphasis was placed on the driver's safety. The new compact wheel loader WL 20 will be presented for the first time at Bauma 2013, which will round off the product range.
With the introduction of the compact WL 20 on the occasion of Bauma 2013, the Wacker Neuson wheel loader series includes nine types of machines: WL 20, WL 25, WL 30, WL 36, WL 37, WL 48, WL 50, WL 55 and WL 57. The most powerful machine in the series with an operating weight of 5,760 kg, a tipping load of 3,663 kg, an engine output of 74.5 kW / 101hp and a shovel capacity of 0.95m³, the WL 57 offers a very powerful material handling and is therefore ideal for use in road and highway construction as well as in civil engineering.
The new WL 20 compact wheel loader is suitable for use in confined spaces. With a height of 2.19 meters and a width of 1.08 meters, it can also be easily used in buildings. The sophisticated articulated swivel joint allows the machine to also maintain contact with the ground with all four wheels, even in the event of uneven ground conditions. As the front and rear ends can oscillate independently of each other, the wheels always have maximum traction. With an operating weight of 2,000 kg, the loader achieves a tipping load of 1,240 kg. The shovel capacity with a standard bucket is 0.2 m³. The smallest Wacker Neuson wheel loader is available with the fold-down driver's canopy that is unique on the market: the canopy can be folded down with just a few hand movements. The machine then only has a height of 1.88 meters – low clearance heights are therefore not a problem. The wheel loader thus offers the ideal combination of flexible application and the required safety guidelines ROPS / FOPS.
Contractors, gardeners and landscapers, municipalities and many other end user groups can choose the right machine from the Wacker Neuson WL wheel loader series in a fine gradation for their specific needs. In addition, the machines can be equipped with numerous options in terms of function and comfort according to individual needs. Telematic technology is offered as a new option for the Wacker Neuson wheel loaders. The machinery can be managed better using GPS, because the machine owner always knows where the machine is located, whether it is moving and if the engine is running. With Geofence, the machine can be virtually "fenced in." As soon as it leaves the defined area, the owner receives a notification. This significantly contributes to preventing theft. In addition, the system service information can be depicted individually so that the machinery can be optimally monitored and controlled thanks to telematics.
A large selection of attachments for the Wacker Neuson wheel loaders guarantees multi-functional use on various construction sites. Thanks to the hydraulic quick-change system, attachments can be easily and quickly exchanged from the cab. This increases productivity and economic efficiency.
