Atlas Copco launched the new Scooptram ST 18, an 18 tonne capacity LHD designed for large operations. The new loader is powered by a 450 hp Cummins QSX15 EPA Tier 3/EU Stage IIIA engine.
|Sandvik's DD21 Underground Development Drill for Narrow-Vein Applications|
The new Sandvik DD21 underground hard rock mining development drill was designed for tight working envirements with radii as little as 2.5 m. The new undreground drill rig is standard fitted with a SB20 Boom, providing coverage up to 26 sqm. Optionally, the DD21 Drill Rig can be fitted with the new Sandvik SB20NV boom, which incorporates a CFX 6/12 telescopic feed.

Sandvik announced the new DD422i Axera development drill rig, which will be released on the market during 2014. The new machine is part of the company's next generation underground hard rock drill rigs and is compatible with the newly released Sandvik AutoMine Drilling fleet and information management system.
|Sandvik's Underground Truck TH663|
TH663 is a 63-tonne underground mining truck from Sandvik, currently in production trials at a gold mine in Australia. The TH663 is powered by a Cummins QSK19 diesel engine, rated at 567 kW. The new truck was introduced at MinExpo 2012 in Las Vegas and will replace the TH660 Mine Truck.

Caterpillar Global Mining dispalys at Longwall USA the new shearer model, the EL 1000. The new equipment is designed for heights from 63 to 126 inches, will deliver an estimated cutting power of 1600 horsepower (1000 kW), and will provide haulage power on the order of 2 x 134 horsepower (2 x 100 kW).
